Crowning and Decrowning——Carnival Artistic Characteristics in Slaughterhouse-Five

  • 摘要: 美国后现代派作家冯内古特的代表作《五号屠场》是一个高度狂欢化的文本,小说在艺术思维、人物形象、结构与语言以及时空体等几方面均体现了鲜明的狂欢化的艺术特征。《五号屠场》充满了对话性,以民间话语颠覆官方权威,并采用了脱冕型结构,体现了狂欢节的自由平等精神和交替变更精神。

     

    Abstract: The representative novel of Slaughterhouse-Five written by the American postmodern writer Vonnegut is a text with high carnivalization. In terms of artistic thinking, character image, structure and language as well as time and space, it embodies the distinctive Carnival artistic characteristics. Slaughterhouse-Five is totally conversational, subverting the official authority with folk discourse and applying the decrowning structure, reflecting the spirit of freedom and equality and the spirit of alternation.
