Abstract: Life oriented is the inherent requirement of the socialist core values, which is determined by the source of the socialist core values, the path of social influence and the functions. The connotation of the socialist core values in daily life is to take the socialist core values as an organic part of life, as people's thoughts and methods to solve problems, and understand, experience and practice the values and virtues required by them in life. The socialist core values in life show distinct characteristics in the main body, process, content and way. The realization mechanism of socialist core values in daily life includes a series of mechanisms such as identification, practice, demonstration and guarantee. At present, to promote the realization of socialist core values in daily life, we should strengthen the identification mechanism, establish the practice mechanism, pay attention to the demonstration mechanism, and improve the guarantee mechanism.
