Abstract: Jin Chenyu,one of the very important novelists in the literary history of Korea,has been regarded as the icon of Korean literary world in 1960s.His works put great emphasis on describing personal feeling and realistically disclosing those social problems emerging in the process of industrialization.In this thesis,the author makes an analysis of the characteristics of Jin Chengyu’s novels by takeing his Soul,the Winter in 1964.
