Abstract: Persisting in enlightening the masses is LU Xun s consistent stand.But in different periods,LU Xun has different understanding and attitudes on enlightenment.If we say LU Xun believes enlightenment s effect and power in "Call to Arms" period,so in "Wandering" period,he has already begun to question and rethink enlightenment.This is showed through first person inner-focusing narrative in "Mourning the Passing".
