Abstract: In the early Western Zhou Dynastry,Jiang kingdom,as a branch of Dong Yi minorities which was far away from the center of the country,was not influenced by the anti-government military activities.After King Cheng and the Duke Zhou put down the rebellion of the Dong Yi,in order to appease the minorities,Jiang and Huang tribes were granted to close the upper reaches of Yellow River as subsidary kingdoms.The territory of the old Jiang kingdom included southern part of Zhengyang county,the north-eastern part of the Pingqiao district and the Northern part of the Luoshan county,covering both the northern and southern areas of Huaihe River,mainly the Northern areas.Its capital lay on the north shore of the river.When the other kingdomd lying on the reach of the Hanshui River and the upper Middle raech of Hai River were conquered by Chu kingdom one after another.Jiang kingdom could surive just because the king of it had the marriage relationship with the Chu kingdom.King Mu of Chu conquered Jia...
