Abstract:
In the implementation of "Chinese culture going out" strategy, the proper translation of culturally-loaded Chinese words is very important. Eco-translatology advocates the viewpoint of translator-centered, from the dimensions of language, culture and communication, saying the translator should fully play a dynamic role in the translation process, continuously achieve "adaptation" and "transformation" with the help of the commonly used translation skills, and compensate the cultural loss in the process, thus keeping a dynamic balance in the translation ecosystem and creating an ecological translation to achieve successful communication. By analysis of concrete examples from the "three dimensions", it reveals the unique charm and strong interpretation force of the theory, and provides a new perspective and useful methods for reference to the translation of culturally-loaded Chinese words.
