Abstract: This paper reveals that humanitarianism and the spirit of Christianity are the basic theoretical support of "Human Literature" put forward by ZHOU Zuoren during the Literary Revolution.His choice of Christianity as the resource of his humanitarian literature was based on his knowledge accumulated from the West and his consideration to the need of his era.He believed that Chinese modern literature could get help from Christianity and Bible both in spirit and pattern.
