Abstract: Democratic socialism,which evolves from social democracy,is an open opposition against the bourgeois reformist political thought of Marxism.Since Khrushchev,each successive leader of the Soviet Communist Party doesn’t have a clear understanding of the nature of democratic socialism,confuses democratic socialism with socialism,and even connives and worships democratic socialism,which eventually leads to the ideology’s separation from Marxism,and the perish of both the country and the party.
