Abstract: The overseas trade between Song and Gaoli is of much significance in the foreign trade history between China and the Korea peninsula,and several official missives provide valuable details concerning the commodities,supplementing the sketchy records in the non-official trade.These commodities consist of clothing,guarding warriors,textile,metal ware and local specialty,almost well-known for their high quality.Furthermore,they demonstrate the "tribute" meaning different from the private trade,and mirror the particular social economic history and the cultural connection between the two countries,and display the net trait of the overseas trade at that time.
