Abstract: Compared with social analysis,Baheking’s decription of revelry festival is actually not so good,but this doesnot mean his revelry theory is invented. We cannot judge his theory with the criterion of"true or false",and his innovation lies in that he invented metaphor latitude of revelry festival,and enabled theory to have the possibility of supassing reality because of imagination and show its revolutionary nature. "Imagination and language expression"are two very important roles of Baheking’s revelry theory,and of course, the social function of his revelry metaphor is the reasonable error of imagination.
