Abstract: "Juan opera"is a rare type of the local plays prevailing in the upper reaches of Huaihe River. Its formation has gone from "sacred texts""volume"of religion to folk story written in pictures and cut into painting pictures,forming a unique folk art of papercut. With the historical development, "Telling and Singing Volume"produces the performance of"Shanziren",what’s more,it differentiates into character play,birds and beasts,fishes and insects,etc,forming shadow play . "Juan opera"of the the upper reaches of Huaihe River originates from"propaganda Volume",and to Qianlong Dynasty,it has formed a relatively complete musical type.
