Abstract: The studies on seeking roots of GuShi have achieved great academic achievements in recent three decades.The scholars had discussed the problem of seeking roots of GuShi from the different angles and perspectives.The discussion mainly indicates on two aspects: comprehensive study and classification study,which has improved greatly the development of seeking roots of GuShi.But the research on historical materials content and method needs further study.
