Abstract: After nearly thirty years of research and publicity,it has formed the consensus currently to the active role of Chen Zheng and Chen Yuan-guang,who led 87 clan of people in the Central Plains and got into Fujian,in exploring the region of Quanzhou and Chaozhou,spreading advanced culture,promoting ethnic solidarity and accelerating economic and social development,and to the significance of their great contribution to promote the formation of Southern Fujian culture in Early Tang Dynasty.In the mean time,it also exist some problems which worth discussing.Firstly,the depth and breadth of study is insufficient and so it's difficult to achieve a breakthrough effectively.Secondly,the field investigation about the study is inadequate.Thirdly,many research based on relatively old research methods.Therefore,we give some suggestion for research works of the next step: First,we should set about this work with more effort under the overall background of research of the Central Plains culture and So...
