Abstract: On the basis of numerous corpus analysis,the paper insists that:(1) the structural relations in news text include integration,carry-on,narration, and flashback besides the traditional "inverted pyramid"(repetition)structure;(2) repetition,integration as well as carry-on accounts for 30% of the total news text respectively;(3) integration,flashback,continuity,repetition and narration constitute a changing continuum;(4) these five kinds of relations overlap with each other frequently.
