Abstract: The poem Hard Journey by LI bai is ended with "Riding the wind, I set my sail;Ploughing the waves,I cross my sea".For many years,these two lines were understood as "At last,one s ideal will become true".In fact,they are the full embodiment of Libai s ideal.The first line shows the poet s self-confidence in realizing his ideal,while the second line expresses the firm belief in his successful retreat in the future.
