Abstract: In the theories of western modern republicanism,Pro.Petitte's theory of 'Non-Domination' is a representative view.By analyzing "Non-Domination" from the perspectives of freedom and government,the writer thinks that though the modern republicanism with the "Non Domination" in some way stands on the common philosophic ground and reflects the style of republicanism,the disputes about it deserve our attention as well.
