Abstract: The realistic aesthetic views of QU Qiu-bai are greatly influenced and enlightened by Chernyshevsky's aesthetic theory,including objectivity of beauty,ideal and relativity of beauty,art reproducing life,aesthetic value and social functions of art.Although developed from Chernyshevsky's theory,QU's views bear distinctive features and enjoy obvious superiority over Chernyshevsky's views in many aspects.
