Abstract: Gross National Happiness(GNH) index is a new index system that is different from traditional ones.We should introduce it to China,so we can perfect our policy appraisal system.I suggest we learn from Bhutan and make our GNH include the following four aspects: good governance,economic growth,culture development and environmental protection.In practice,we should avoid GNH frantic.Besides,we should pay attention to the comparability of the GNH.
