Abstract: Language communication should observe such principles as the distance principle,CP and PP,euphemism as an important form of communication also observes these principles.When people use the euphemisms,they will observe the distance principle,PP and the self-protection and violate CP to generate conversational implication.This thesis analyzes how do English euphemisms observe these principles and how do these principles govern English euphemisms.
