Investigation on the Folk Daoism Music in the South of Henan and Its Function

摘要: 豫南地处南北之交,全真道教之南浸,正一道教之北渗,豫南是其必经之地。豫南道教既有全真道教也有正一道教。全真道教主要在宫观,正一道教主要散居在民间。正一道教以其民间性而被称做火居道。豫南民间火居道的音乐有其自身显著的特点,具有乐神、娱人、德教三大功能。

Abstract: Daoism is the largest traditional Chinese region,and the Daoism music culture has a long history.The South of Henan lies in the center of China,through which different schools of Daoism would have to pass while they were spreading to the other part of China.Therefore,the Daoism in the south of Henan consists of Quanzheng Daoism and Zhengyi Daoism.Quanzheng Daoism are mainly located in the temples,while Zhengyi Daoism mainly lies among the people.Zhengyi Daoism is also named as Huoju Daoism because of its po...
