On the rhetorical devices used in advertising English from the stylistic perspective

  • 摘要: 英语广告的语言有许多独特的特性并形成了自己的文体———广告文体。企业广告中运用比喻、拟人、双关和成语典故、反复和平行结构、押韵和节奏等修辞手段,给人以美的享受。恰当的修辞技巧使英语广告的语言更加生动形象、意蕴优美、引人注目,能给人留下深刻的印象,使商品广告不仅具有很高的商业价值、信息价值,而且更具有一定的语言研究价值和欣赏价值。
