Abstract: Folk song singing is an art of performance based on the appreciation of the beauty, in which body language is necessary. As a kind of symbol system, body language expresses the comparatively distinct information by means of physical movement. As far as the performance of the folk song singing is concerned, body language has two functions: one is the function of expression and the other is the expression of aesthetic perception.
