试论汉武帝的“西南夷”民族政策

On Emperor Hanw’s ethnic policy towards the minorities in the Southwest of China

摘要: “西南夷”地处边陲,其正式纳入汉王朝版图,是从汉武帝刘彻对“西南夷”经略开始的。汉武帝时期,随着汉王朝的强盛,经略“西南夷”的条件日趋成熟。汉武帝通过设置郡县加强对“西南夷”管理,同时实行“故俗治”、“毋赋税”、募兵屯垦和开凿交通干线等一系列开明的政治、经济、文化政策,促进了西南地区经济与文化的发展,促进了西南各民族的团结与融合,加快了“西南夷”地区进入封建社会的步伐。

Abstract: The minorities in the Southwest of China, lying on the frontiers, were formally merged into China's territory when Emperor Hanwu LIU Che began to administer them.
