Abstract: The concurrent utilization of synaesthesia and metaphor is of fairly high aesthetic value, for it bears the structural features of them both. It is psycholosically based on the simultaneous activity of both comprehensive sense and mental associations and its linguistic structures mainly comprise the subject-predicate, the modifier-modified, and sentence group patterns.
