Abstract: In early 20th century, some Chinese scholars applied European logic and ancient Indian logic to explain the materials of ancient Chinese argumentation theory. Although there appeared varied errors in this way, they discovered that there were plenty of logical theories in ancient China, Hence, they are regarded as the research pioneers in the study of the history of Chinese logic.
