Abstract: The translation of tourist materials demands faithfulness. But it can't be translated one word by one word or one sentence by sentence. The translator should make appropriate adaptations in the light of specific conditions. It is necessary for translators to consider the techniques which include amplification, annotation, explanation, analogy, reduction and adjust and so on.
