Abstract: We should remember English words in accordance with the morphemes included.The relationship between mnemonics and word building morphemes,mainly roots,prefixes and suffixes is discussed in the aspects of their etymology,varie ty ,semantics and efficacy.And situational mnemonics is introduced to construct an environment of remembrance by associations-word-root enviroment and deriving environment which gives the matter a new visual angle.
