Abstract: A simplis intruducation to researchers in educational area for a newest tool-structrural equation modeling(SEM)is given.SEM is not only a new tool in research but also a new way to thinking,so the author goes in deep ly to understand it and goes out with simple language to tell us the basic con cepts ,elementary principles in SEM,and gives a simple illustration about how to use it in education research.
