Abstract: There exist some understanding divergences on the words “ke/de”(可得) in “Lüshi Chunqiu Chajin”(吕氏春秋·察今):the theory of synonyms in succession;the theory of combination of modal verb and transitive verb.Through the studies and analyses on three different viewpoints of the language using examples in the same reference of the same time,the whole context in “Chajin”(察今) and the method of remarking on the society from understanding people,We draw a conclusion that the latter theory is the right one.
