Views of the scholars of early Qing Dynasty about the coastal defense geography around Bohai Sea

摘要: 清代前期 ,杜臻、顾祖禹、陈伦炯等学者 ,较为详细地分析了渤海周围地区的海岸、海岛和海区的地理形势 ,分析了海口、海港和海道的军事、经济价值 ,为当时的海防建设提供了理论依据和参考意见

Abstract: In the early Qing Dynasty,scholars DU Zhen,GU Zu yu and CHEN Lun jiong analysed the geographical situation about the city,coast,island and sea area around Bohai Sea detailedly,and also expounded the military and economic value of the river mouths,seaports and sea routes there.All these views had provided helpful theories and referential ideas for the coast defense of that time.
