Abstract: The viewpoint of the history of logic and the principles or methods which were followed or applied formed the two important aspects in WEN Gong yi's research about Chinese logic.The former included whether logic existed in ancient China;the object,range,objective of study and the development of Chinese logic.The latter involved seeking truth from facts,the viewpoint of developing,the methods of comparing,linguistics and integrating logic with history etc.
