Abstract: HAN Qi was a very important courtier in the Northern Song Dynasty.He lived through the reigns of emperor Renzong 、Yingzong and Shenzong and held the post of prime minister for ten years he played an impotant role in polities at the time,especially in the war resisting the Western Xia.For a long time,many people ignored the role he had played and believed he had made great mistakes in the war.In fact,HAN Qi contributed greatly to end the war though he made big mistakes in the war.
