Abstract: JIANG Ze min's new idea of national security absolutely different from that during the Cold War.With mutual understanding benefits equality and co operation as a core it covers the elementary conditions for national security,the signs which threaten the notional security,the safe pattern for maintaining a lasting peace and the national security level .All these help to maintain the national security of China in the 21st century.
