Abstract: In order to enlighten colleagues of the same field in their future language teaching and to improve students' English writing in the end.This article is to make a contrasitive study of the different characters between English and Chinese and to analyse the various mistakes in Chinese students' English writing caused by the negative transfer from their native language.
