Abstract:
Achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a major decision to realize the modernization of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature. The realization of“ actively and steadily promoting carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” proposed by the 20th Party Congress requires the active cooperation and correct actions of citizens. As the practical dilemma of not knowing what to do, knowing what to do wrongly, and knowing what not to do prevails in reality, it is important to clarify the level of citizens' knowledge of the“ dual-carbon” goal from the three dimensions of knowledge of the proposition, the ability, and the motivation, and to inquire into the question of what is the“ dual-carbon” goal, and what is the“ dual-carbon” goal. The systematic questioning of what is the“ dual-carbon” goal, how to achieve the“ dual-carbon” goal, and why to achieve the“ dual-carbon” goal will help citizens to form a multi-faceted value cognition of the basic content, behavioral norms and reasons for the“ dualcarbon” goal. To achieve the unity of knowledge and action in citizens' low-carbon actions, it is necessary to deepen the knowledge of low-carbon propositions to provide a cognitive foundation for the transformation of low-carbon knowledge and action; to disseminate the knowledge of ability to provide an action guide for the transformation of low-carbon knowledge and action; and to stimulate the knowledge of motivation to provide a behavioral tendency for the transformation of low-carbon knowledge and action.
