制造业企业数字化转型对碳排放强度的影响——基于A股上市公司的实证研究

The Impact of Digital Transformation on Carbon Emission Intensity in Manufacturing Enterprises: An Empirical Study Based on A-share Listed Companies

  • 摘要: 基于中国A股上市制造业企业2009—2022年非平衡面板数据,构造微观层面数字化转型指标,实证检验制造业企业数字化转型对碳排放强度的影响。研究发现,制造业企业数字化转型能够显著降低企业碳排放强度。机制检验表明,制造业企业数字化转型通过创新效应和协同效应降低企业碳排放强度。异质性分析表明,在竞争性行业、非高技术产业和高环境敏感性行业中,制造业企业数字化转型的降碳效果更显著。

     

    Abstract: Based on the unbalanced panel data of Chinese A-share listed manufacturing enterprises from 2009 to 2022, the study uses micro-level digital transformation indicators and empirically examines the impact of digital transformation on carbon emission intensity. The findings reveal that digital transformation in manufacturing enterprises significantly reduces corporate carbon emission levels. Mechanism tests indicate that digital transformation cuts down carbon emission intensity through the innovation effect and coordination effect.Heterogeneity analysis finds that the driving effect of digital transformation on enterprise carbon emission is more significant in competitive industries, non-high-tech sectors and environmentally sensitive industries.
