Abstract: “Root culture” is a unique spiritual symbol， cultural icon and essence of Chinese excellent traditional culture， and it is an important spiritual force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It is a cultural phenomenon that occurs and develops from root and kinship， involving tracing ancestry， seeking relatives and exploring connections， and the continuation of bloodlines. Essentially， it is cultural belonging， psychological identification and spiritual homecoming. It has distinct characteristics such as geographical orientation， inheritance， folk nature， openness and cohesiveness nature， and it is conducive to achieving unique values such as inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture， promoting the integrated development of economy and society， and enhancing the high degree of identification with the Chinese nation community. Therefore， through in-depth research and education on “root culture”， optimizing and upgrading the characteristic brand of “root culture”， and effectively converting the achievements of “root culture” activities， we can continuously promote the forging of the awareness of the Chinese national community.
