Abstract:
Identity is a kind of social attribute that individuals use to identify their position in the social structure. Digital identity is a new kind of location identification of individual identity in the virtual space, and it is a symbol set of information such as name, behavior, interest, specialty and influence of individual in the digital space. With the accelerated iteration of new technologies, virtual existence continues to embed in social life, and people continue to build their own digital identities. On the one hand, digital identity vividly demonstrates people’s media and network virtual existence, which is conducive to self-expression and identity confirmation; On the other hand, it will also cause “individual-society” binary conflict due to identity deviation, trust dwarfing, expression paradox, information backeating and so on. In the face of the binary conflict of digital identity, to promote the positive recovery of location recognition, it is necessary to adopt comprehensive policies from management regression, subject regression and technical regression to achieve a dynamic governance balance. This paper mainly uses the contradiction analysis method to investigate the essence from the phenomenon and find out the essential reasons for the binary conflict caused by the application of digital identity. By understanding the underlying causes and finding solutions, it is intended to propose better policy solutions for the application of digital identity.
