教育强国背景下教育学人的历史选择、时代担当与未来使命

“Building a Powerful Nation through Education”: Historical Choice, Responsibility in the Times and Future Mission of Educators

  • 摘要: 教育是强国建设、民族复兴之基。教育学人在不同历史阶段以实际行动建设国家,从近代“教育救国”到中华人民共和国成立后的“教育兴国”,再到新时代的“教育强国”,教育学人肩负起时代赋予的历史使命,推动了国家建设与进步。在新时代背景下,教育学人需担当起推动教育改革深化、促进教育公平与质量提升、引领教育国际化进程等重要职责,在构建中国特色教育学自主知识体系方面有所作为,以落实立德树人根本任务、支撑引领中国式现代化、提升教育公共服务水平、推动教育对外开放为使命,为实现教育强国愿景贡献力量。

     

    Abstract: Education is of vital importance to the country and the Communist Party of China. It also serves as the foundation for building a powerful nation and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Educators, as leaders, have influenced the country through education in different historical periods. From the idea of “saving the nation through education” in modern times to “revitalizing the country through education” after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and then to “building a powerful nation through education” in the new era, educators have always taken education as the primary force, shouldered the mission of the times and promoted the construction and progress of the country. In the context of the new era, educators need to undertake important responsibilities such as deepening educational reforms, promoting educational equity and improving educational quality, and leading the process of internationalizing education. They should also build an independent knowledge system of pedagogy with Chinese characteristics and contribute to the realization of the vision of building a powerful nation in education. As educators in the new era, on the path of developing a powerful nation in education in the future, they should also take it as their mission to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, support and lead the Chinese path to modernization, improve the level of educational public services and promote the opening up of education to the outside world.
