Abstract:
“Life and Practice” education takes life as the content and practice as the mode of education, mainly including six principles (life being learning, life being growing, and survival being making progress together) and three implementation ways (school education, family education and social education). “Life and Practice” education focuses on cultivating students’ force of life, practice, learning, autonomy, cooperation and innovation. In the process of the implementation of home-school-community cooperative education, the main practical challenges are as following: the communication mechanism being not perfect; paying too much attention to the unilateral development of “intellectual education”, students’ life characterized by closure; Family, school and society have a weak sense of cooperation, and their status is dysfunctional. From the perspective of “Life and Practice” education, the realistic challenges of home-school-community cooperative education can be alleviated from the following three aspects: improving the communication mechanism; strengthening the connection between students and life, pay attention to the overall development of students; and building a mechanism for cooperation between families, schools and communities that improves quality and efficiency.
