Abstract:
Through a survey and analysis of 879 valid samples, it was found that professional commitments of primary general-subject normal students were moderately high. Among them, normative commitment was the highest, emotional commitment and continuance commitment was the second highest and ideal commitment was the lowest. On the whole, primary general-subject normal students experienced some degree of learning burnout, with academic misbehavior being the highest, academic depression being the second highest, and academic achievement being the lowest. Professional commitment and learning burnout are closely related to teachers’professional identity, professional choice motivation, school’s professional curriculum, teachers’teaching level, teaching facilities, professional guidance, class atmosphere, professional practice, students’career planning, interpersonal relationship and health status. To improve the professional commitment and learning burnout of primary general-subject normal students, it is necessary to promote the traditional virtues of respecting teachers and valuing teaching, and enhance the recognition of the teaching profession; improve enrollment policies and enhance students’ideological identity; deepen the reform of education and teaching to create a good education environment; and give full play to students’subjective initiative and promote their independent and healthy growth.
