Abstract: The great historical process of the CPC leading the Chinese people to "win democracy" and build democracy is the whole-process of people's democratic creation. The Party's leadership in the process has four basic experiences: firstly, we must adhere to subjective consciousness, which is reflected in the Party's leadership and promotion derived from the Party's faith, mission, and responsibility; secondly, we must adhere to a practical orientation, which is reflected in the Party's integration of its democratic struggle goals with the theme of the times, and promote the development of democratic politics; thirdly, we must adhere to gradual development, which is reflected in the gradual development of the Party's macro strategy and individual promotion based on national conditions, and the combination of great goals and step-by-step implementation; fourthly, we must adhere to the principle of the people being the masters of the country, which is reflected in the unity and coordinated development of substantive democracy and procedural democracy. The four major experiences not only make important contributions to the Party's theory of people's democracy and the path of democratic development in China, but also provide experience for the innovation of the Party's democratic theory.
