Abstract:
Red-themed animation, as an important branch of the anime industry, has witnessed substantial growth and improvement in recent years, thanks to robust support from the government. The number of red-themed animations has been rapidly increasing, offering a diverse range of themes and maturing creative expression. However, to be realistic, the current state of red-themed animation creation remains niche, particularly in the development of animations centered around the revolutionary history of the Dabie Mountains. There is a lag in the development of such animations, characterized by outdated dissemination concepts and a limited range of approaches. Therefore, while exploring the current status and challenges of red-themed animation creation and dissemination, we intend to focus on the rich red culture of the Dabie Mountains region. We aim to break free from the stereotypes associated with red-themed animation and establish mechanisms that harness the advantages of animated short films and enlist the support of various stakeholders. This approach serves as an innovative path for the dissemination of red-themed animation in the new era. These measures will contribute to the healthy development of red-themed animation creation, promote the prosperity of the Dabie Mountains cultural industry, and stimulate economic growth.
