Abstract: People's democracy in the whole process is not only a brand new form of people's democracy in the new era, but also a new achievement that the Party Central Committee, taking Xi Jinping as the core, combines the theory of Marxist democratic politics with the practice of socialist democracy in China. People's democracy in the whole process is formed and developed on the basis of the organic unity of the historical subjectivity of the masses, the People's character of socialism and the mass line logic of the Communist Party of China. Compared with the Western democracy, the whole process of people's democracy has its inherent advantages, which are embodied in the essence of people's democracy, the rich forms of democratic practice, the centralization of public opinion and the exertion of social force. At present, to further develop and improve the whole process of people's democracy, it is necessary to strengthen the Party's overall leadership, to put the Party's leadership through all systems and links of people's democracy in the process; to rely on the system of the people running the country to provide institutional guarantee for the whole process of the practice of people's democracy; and to follow the Party's mass line and realize high-quality development of people's democracy throughout the process.
