Abstract: By combing the research on the guarantee system of maker education at home and abroad, starting from the external guarantee system of the development of maker education in China's colleges and universities, this paper summarizes the relevant contents of policy support, financial support, enterprise support and cultural support for the development of maker education in China's colleges and universities, and finds the following problems: some colleges and universities deviate from the original intention of maker education, and the direction of development is not clear; Limited capital investment and unbalanced resource allocation; Enterprises attach importance to Internet projects, and the market for makers' products is relatively narrow; Lack of local maker culture and diversity of maker culture. In view of the above problems, the following suggestions are put forward: the government plans the overall development and strictly implements relevant policies; Colleges and universities open multiple investment channels to form a virtuous circle development capital chain; The enterprise provides diversified market demand and promotes the connection between makers' products and the market; All sectors should establish a collaboration system and create a good environment for maker culture.
