Abstract:
In order to examine the relationship between mindfulness and life satisfaction in stress and college students' mobile phone addiction, a sample of 686 college students was recruited to complete Stress Scale for College Students, Mindful Attention Awareness Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale and Mobile Phone Addiction Index. The results showed that:(1) Stress, mindfulness, life satisfaction and mobile phone addiction were significantly correlated with each other. (2) Mindfulness and life satisfaction play a chain mediating role between stress and mobile phone addiction. This study suggests that stress affected mobile phone addiction not only directly but through two indirect paths:through the mediating role of mindfulness and the chain mediating roles of mindfulness and life satisfaction.
