Abstract: Adhering to the authority and centralized leadership of the Party is the highest principle of the Party's leadership, and the primary task of the Party's political construction, with sufficient historical, theoretical and realistic basis. From the theoretical logic, maintaining the authority of the CPC Central Committee is the basic principle of Marxism theory of the Party building; from the historical logic, it is important experience of the CPC revolution, construction and reform; from realistic logic,it is realistic requirement for modernizing national governance and realizing the second Centenary Goal. Through the historical investigation of maintaining the authority of the CPC Central Committee, we know that we must have the strict system safeguard, the strong leadership core and the unified thought foundation. It is of great significance to deeply understand and practice the three logic of safeguarding the authority and draw lessons from the experience of safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee in the new era.
