Abstract: The era of intelligence is an era in which human intelligence continues to extend outside the body. It is an era in which higher education uses artificial intelligence to gradually enhance human intelligence. It is also an era in which higher education courses move from knowledge courses to intelligent courses. In this era, as the carrier, software and core of higher education modernization, the connotation of higher education curriculum modernization has undergone intelligent changes, showing characteristics of hybrid intelligence, significant individualization, and strong integration. Combining the background of the era of intelligence and the reality of higher education courses, it is found that the current situation of higher education courses, the continuous penetration of intelligent science and technology, and the orientation of higher education modernization are the core driving forces to promote higher education courses modernization.
