Abstract: Zero degree and deviation is an important concept in Mr. WANG Xijie's rhetoric theory. The author analyzes the problems and shortcomings of children's literature in China: the lack of gender sense, avoidance of "sex description", the growth of the subject divorced from reality, false and artificial aspects in children's language. These problems in Chinese children's literature will be further discussed based on the theory of deviation from the four following perspectives: the gender's positive and negative deviation; the deviation and lack of initiation theme; hard deviation and soft deviation; dominant deviation and recessive deviation. This study will further promote writers' sense of social responsibility, improve their writing skills and sensitivity, and promote the healthy development of children's literature.
