Abstract:
Media politics is a kind of polity handled through media technology, which bears four essential features, namely: the dependence of the handling political process upon media, the influence of media logic on political logic, a better access of political power to the civics and image politics being the nuclear of the political process. As a new type of polity, it plays an active role in facilitating political democratization, promoting the administrative capacity of the government and enhancing the effectiveness of political supervision, but at the same time, it may be a challenge of the present political order and cast negative influence on the political stability and the healthy development of political democracy.
